As a founding partner and the CEO of 1ONEFirm, Inc., Brian is responsible for developing strategic growth initiatives for the company and overseeing the organizational structure of the business. Brian formulates both short-term and long-term goals for the business both from an operational and strategic financial perspective. Brian brings an integrated approach to clients and partnerships with his combined vision for commercial real estate opportunities, a design-build strategy that helps move projects forward, and the execution and delivery for respective clients. Brian has extensive experience on the capital structure side of the process to help bridge teams on the lending and capital side of a transaction. His decades of building experience from pre-construction, construction management, and finish-out make for a truly dynamic leader in this sector
Brian earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M and completed his studies in December of 1999. He then pursued a career in the construction industry, starting with a national mechanical contractor in 2000 before moving to Med-Tech Construction in 2003, which he later purchased in 2006 where he served as President and CEO until he sold in 2015. While under his leadership, the healthcare construction firm was named an Aggie 100 company in 2011 and 2012 and also earned the Dallas Top 100 Award from the SMU Cox School of Business two consecutive years in a row while they served their clients in the DFW Metroplex, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Birmingham (AL) and Atlanta (GA) markets. Brian has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, development, and construction management, as well as both interior finish-out and ground-up construction in residential, commercial, municipal, various medical office and professional businesses, and restaurant construction projects. He remains active at Texas A&M where he currently serves on a Vice Chancellor Forum, steering committee for entrepreneurship, and visits with students throughout the year. He is the former Mayor of Heath, Texas where he was a change agent for multiple infrastructure projects and a comprehensive CIP process that aimed to prepare for both extensive residential and commercial growth. Brian also served as the Ex-Officio Member of the Heath Economic Development Corporation. His passion is working with friends and partners alike on various entrepreneurial endeavors. Brian and his wife Shelley, have three boys, Brady, and identical twins Breck and Brooks. While not on the baseball fields, they live in Heath, TX, and are active members of Lake Pointe Church.
